The first round of negotiations on the future trade relationship between the UK and EU has started on 2th March. A team of government officials, led by Boris Johnson's chief negotiator, David Frost, have begun their opening exchanges with Michel Barnier and his team. Fisheries issues will be discussed on 3th and 4th.
Full negotiating rounds will in principle take place every two to three weeks, unless agreed otherwise between the parties. Negotiation rounds will alternate between London and Brussels.
Fisheries is one of 11 negotiating groups
Round 2 - From Wednesday 18 March till Friday 20 March, London.
Round 3 - From Monday 6 April till Wednesday 8 April, Brussels.
Round 4 - From Monday 27 April till Thursday 30 April, London.
Round 5 - From Wednesday till 13 May Saturday 16 May, Brussels.
