HELPING US TO HELP YOU!

The Fishermen’s Mission provides a range of practical welfare and pastoral support to active and retired fishermen and their families. We provide advice and emergency financial assistance for the maintenance of the basics of life (‘hearth and home’) applying for grants from other maritime charities where necessary.

We can also signpost clients to other agencies, offer an arm around the shoulder when the going gets tough and are always seeking new ways to improve the overall wellbeing of our fishing communities. In the current COVID-19 situation most of our staff are working electronically but are still able to provide the majority of our normal services.
